NBC's Knight Rider just got lamer

by Paul William Tenny

You've probably heard by now that NBC is going to remake Knight Rider the same way it did Bionic Woman, only I'm sure they are hoping for much better results this time around, considering that Bionic Woman probably won't be coming back after the writers strike comes to an end. I don't know anybody that thinks this is a good idea, but really, whose idea was it to bring David Hasselhoff on board? I like the guy, and I liked Knight Rider actually, but this is just sad my friends.

No matter how much money you throw at it, you can't get it back. Please, for all that is holy and good in the world, just stop it. These network execs need to learn about this cool technology called DVD that allows you to watch all these old shows you saw when you were coming up in the comfort of your own home. It only costs you $60 instead of $2 million per episode, and It's really great. No commercials or anything.

You can relive that experience over and over and over again, while the rest of us go on with our lives. Please, kind sir, can we go on with our lives? Can we have some new stories and new shows for once? Just a few episodes is all we need. Anything but this old cruft..
