James Marsters Lands 'Without a Trace'
in
I'll be honest, I don't have the first clue what kind of show Without a Trace is, even though I recognize the name. There are way too many shows, most of them mediocre and bad, to watch and become intimately familiar with every single of them. I am however familiar with one James Marsters, and his presence will definitely lead me to take a look into this series to see what it's all about.
I love what Masters did on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, especially towards the end of the sixth and into the seventh season. Not so crazy about the Angel crossover. Felt like something was lost in translation there, felt like the old Spike that didn't go through the transformation he did between 6 and 7 of Buffy. Really, there isn't anything more appealing in drama than a character that redeems themselves.

I've been taught that redemption is at the core of nearly every story, and that if you can write those kinds of stories, you'll be very successful, and if you stop to think, it makes sense. Redemption (from whatever to whatever) is very powerful to see and experience. Change doesn't come lightly either in real life, or in fiction.
So this is great news, now I've just got to find out what the hell this show is about and when it airs. Smart move on their part, this guy has a following that will give them new viewers, rabid ones that love their guy. The cultish kind of people that turn campy into classic.
