It's 2012 and I'm still here, hosting six websites for five clients, including my own projects. In 2007, you got 5 TB of bandwidth per month and 500 GB of diskspace for $10.95/month.

Now they don't limit your bandwidth and disk usage at all.

DreamHost is extremely honest and open when things go wrong, posting regular updates on simple things like individual server maintenance and lengthy blog posts if and when things go wrong. They explain in detail what went wrong and what they did to make sure it never happens again.
