Since I couldn't go to Comic Con in San Diego this year, I thought about what else I could do to fill the need for convention content. If anyone reading this is going, please do mail me if you're able to write something about your experience as I'd be happy to post it. Otherwise, I think what I'll do is start aggregating content from other sites doing convention coverage to make this site (and this page) a one-stop resource for what's being written online.

I will continually update this post as more content is written and published leading up to, and all throughout Comic Con 2008.
Monday, July 14th
Comic Con doesn't start until this weekend, so most of what's floating around so far is news about who is going to appear on what panel, and when. The schedule has been released on multiple sites, so here's the lineup care of much maligned and much loved Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood: July 23rd and 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th. That's Wed-Sun next week and just looking at the schedule, it seems like this thing ought to run a full week to give people a chance to see everything.

It's nifty to see a Torchwood panel even though I'm sure the show doesn't have a real huge following in the United States.

IESB has information on the participation levels for some hotly anticipated films like Star Trek (Abrams), G.I. Joe and Transformers 2. Trek, for example, will have a "presence" but there won't be a panel. I wonder of Abrams will show up for Fringe?

Additional links:
TheOneRing.net will join a panel featuring LORT stuff.
Horroryearbook.com has a roundup of the horror panels and events.
Although Trek XI will have a "presence", it won't be shown this year.
