Tonight on Heroes: Collision

by Paul William Tenny

heroes2.jpgLater on tonight in its regular time slot of 9PM EDT, Ali Later (Jessica Sanders) and Adrian Pasdar (Nathan Petreilli) will be hosting an episode of Heroes from last season as a two-part promotion for Later's upcoming flick Resident Evil 3 (save yourself the trouble and don't go see it) and the eminent debut of season two later in September.

The episode Larter and Pasdar will be presenting this evening is Collision, the fourth episode to air. It's notable that Bryan Fuller wrote this episode, as he is no longer with the series. Fuller shot a pilot and had it picked up by ABC called Pushing Daisies which I believe will be airing in Wednesday nights at 8, and is probably the most anticipated new show of this fall season. Of course that doesn't always guarantee success. Collision set in motion the famous "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" arc that was paid off just before the mid-point of the first season. It was that scene (though not the subsequent payoff and hype) that drew me into this series.

But that's not all my friends, every Monday night from this point onward will see two Heroes present an episode from season one, right up until the season two premier. August 20th will see Hayden Panettiere (Clair Bennet) and Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli) as they ruminate Homecoming, the ninth episode.

On August 27th, Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura) and James Kyson (Ando Masahashi) will host the 10th episode, Six Months Ago.

September 3rd, Jake Coleman (Noah Bennet) and Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) will host 1x17, Company Man.

Finally, on September 10th, Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh) and Zachary Quinto (Sylar) will host Parasite. I'm not sure what NBC has planned for September 17th, but there is that day, and then the season two premier is on the 24th. I will post reminders each week so you can catch some of the favorites of these Heroes and one really naughty about-to-be Vulcan.
